Restuno is a restaurant operations application provided by Jerry Technologies SRL (“Restuno”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we process, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account data: email address, account identifier, email-verification status, and sign-in activity.
- Restaurant data: restaurant profile, contact and company details, preferences, team members, and employee activity recorded in the app.
- Inventory data: products, quantities, units, prices, suppliers, expiry dates, batches, stock movements, and history.
- Assistant content: conversations, drafts, corrections, learned product names, invoices, receipts, photographs, PDFs, and other files you submit.
- Technical data: basic request, device, diagnostic, security, and network information. Before sign-in, an IP-derived country may be used to suggest a language and currency; the IP address is not stored in your restaurant profile.
Voice, images, documents, and AI
Text, images, documents, and temporary voice recordings may be sent through our Google Cloud service to OpenAI to transcribe audio, understand your instruction, extract invoice information, and prepare inventory actions for your review. Voice recordings are not kept in your synchronized account history. Uploaded documents and images are retained so the assistant can preserve context, detect previous documents, and show your document history.
Why we use information
We use information to provide and synchronize Restuno, authenticate accounts, process inventory instructions, preserve restaurant-specific context, prevent duplicate actions, support integrations, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, or track you across third-party apps and websites.
Service providers
We use Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, databases, file storage, aggregate app-usage analytics, and crash diagnostics; OpenAI for AI-assisted interpretation and transcription; Apple for distribution and optional device services; and Google Business Profile only when you choose to connect it. For public digital menus, we measure anonymous visits, menu items kept visibly on screen, opened menu items, and active viewing time so the restaurant can understand menu interest. These events do not identify guests. Other analytics and diagnostics do not include your conversations, uploaded documents, or restaurant profile. These providers process information under their own terms and data-protection commitments.
Storage and retention
Account and restaurant data are stored while your account is active. You may delete individual content where the app offers that control or delete the complete account from Restaurant settings. Account deletion removes active account data and uploaded files. Limited encrypted backups, provider recovery copies, security logs, or records required by law may remain for a short period before automatic deletion.
Your choices and rights
You can correct restaurant and inventory information, delete conversations and learned names, disconnect integrations, or permanently delete your account and associated restaurant data from the app. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion by contacting us.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted transport, private cloud storage, and account-scoped data separation. No service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information outside your country using lawful transfer mechanisms where required.
Children
Restuno is a business service and is not directed to children.
